Given these facts, it would make no sense for us not to discuss skin care products on a skin care website. Again, we are not tied to any product, author, or company nor have we any allegiance to any product, author, or company. We first evaluate the product. If we feel it is a quality product that can help our readers, we apply to the company to be affiliates of the product and then we post our review on our website. If at some point a product we recommend devolves and fails to meet expectations, we will lower its rating and explain why.

The skin care products industry is constantly evolving. New and better products will be developed, and most will have affiliate programs. Our aim is to give you all the most important details about the product and allow you to compare products side by side with other products.

If you go to the product website and make a purchase, great, we get a commission and you get a quality product. If you don't like what you see, that's fine too, you've checked one more option off your list. You may be asking, well, if you have no allegiance to a company, why become an affiliate? We do so only after studying the product and concluding it is a high quality product. We are a family business. We put countless hours into researching and writiing and developing this website, in addition to our other family and work responsibilities. We feel that if we provide good, free, useful information to our readers, there is no reason we should not in some way be compensated for our efforts.

Our readers benefit from our work. We don't receive a penny from our readers for our efforts. If you purchase a product we recommend by linking to it from our website, the company that makes the product, not you the customer, pays us a percentage of the sale (the commission varies from product to product). We also provide links to products we do not recommend so that you can evaluate them for yourself. If you should find that a product we do not recommend meets your needs better than those we recommend, we would like to hear from you. If you find that product worthy of a better rating, we will re-evaluate it if you provide us with a real testimonial.

To sum up, our loyalty lies only to our readers and to ourselves, not to any product, author, or company.
