Is there one antiaging treatment that works for all types of people with all types of skin types
and conditions? Well, if you are looking for a single product that does it all, you may be embarking on a very long quest.
Different skin care products and beauty treatments can help different people in their quest to
rejuvenate their skin. But has anyone discovered an antiaging treatment that can work for everyone? And if there is such a thing, surely it
would cost a fortune and be beyond the means of your average person, right?
Actually, and fortunately for us, there does exist a two-pronged antiaging treatment that not only can, but
will help make your skin look and feel younger.
And it doesn’t have to cost you a cent. It’s called rest and exercise.
You may be thinking to yourself, please, what kind of antiaging treatment is rest and exercise? Well, it is one of
the more effective, in fact.

Clearly, there are other factors that contribute to the body’s aging, the loss of muscle tone and skin tone and skin elasticity,
the development of facial and neck wrinkles, the slowing of cell regeneration, and so on.
A poor diet, too much sun, smoking, too much alcohol, not enough water, stress and so on, all contribute to aging, and a complete

There is no easier or cheaper antiaging treatment than rest and exercise.
Your body needs sufficient rest to replenish its resources. During sleep your body undergoes regeneration. It is commonly known
that effective muscle building, for instance, requires periods of rest to maximize gains. A smart weight lifter, for example, will
alternate his routines, never performing the same exercises on consecutive days. The muscles that are taxed during a workout require
sufficient rest time to recover and grow. It is during this rest period that on the cellular level muscles actually repair themselves and
grow bigger.
Sleep is an essential component of this natural antiaging treatment for all people, whether they are athletes or not.
Poor sleeping habits or patterns, and not enough rest, will keep your body from repairing itself on the cellular level. Think what a
failure of skin cells to repair and regenerate will do to your appearance. Your skin will become more brittle, thinner, and drier, and more
prone to wrinkling.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Everyone is different, of course, but generally, most doctors will tell you that the average person should get about eight hours
of sleep every night. You may require more or less. How do you feel when you wake up? Do you feel rested and refreshed? If not, take
measures to get more sleep as part of your antiaging treatment. If you don’t, your body will not function optimally, and it
will show in the way you look and feel, most markedly in your face.
If you are having trouble sleeping, try eating dinner earlier, at least two hours before going to bed. More than two hours is even
better. Late meals or snacks can increase your blood sugar and keep you restless. Soft music or white noise help some people to sleep.
Prayer, meditation, reading, all of these help you to relax and form an effective component of any antiaging
treatment.
Television before bed can over-stimulate your mind and have you thinking all night (or, depending on the show, it can help you
doze off – have an automatic switch-off timer on your TV if you like watching TV in bed). Some natural supplements like Valerian and Gaba

exercising daily.
Exercise is free and it’s easy, and can be fun and should always be part of any of any antiaging treatment. You can
exercise in the company of others, or by yourself to music or television in the privacy of your home. You can stretch, you can walk, you
can run, you can do weight training, sit-ups, push-ups, leg exercises, core exercises. There are countless exercises and routines you can
perform.
Check the internet for ideas. The important thing is that you do it regularly, that you alter your routines periodically to
maximize effectiveness (your body gets used to the same routines and the benefits to you will diminish), and that you get your heart rate
going and the sweat pouring. But do not overdo it!
Excessive aerobic cardiovascular exercise, in particular, can damage your skin if the right levels of antioxidants are not
maintained to fight off free radicals. We don’t recommend running marathons every weekend as part of your antiaging treatment,
for instance. We do recommend you make sure you are getting enough antioxidants in your system through supplements, even if you are not a
marathoner.
Please make sure that, before you begin any exercise program, inform your doctor of what you plan to
do.
He knows your medical history and will be able to advise you accordingly as to what you should or should not do. In all
antiaging treatment cases, practice patience. When embarking on an exercise program, begin slowly, building up stamina, endurance
and strength. Changing how you look and feel takes time. As your body gets stronger, and begins to look younger, so will your
skin.
