6 Great Natural Beauty
Recipes
Natural beauty recipes are easy to make at home. They cost less than commercial cosmetic products and are safer
to use. They have no toxic chemicals to seep through your pores into your bloodstream, and because these recipes are made only with natural
products, they are more skin-friendly and effective than their artificial counterparts.
Try one or all of the following natural beauty recipes:
How about a nice herbal bath? Here’s all you need: a handful of your favorite herbs and a cup of sea salt. Grind the herbs (for
example, peppermint, rosemary, lavender) into a fine powder using a coffee grinder. Mix the herb
powder with the sea salt and toss and mix into your bath water for a lovely, relaxing bath. Your body will love you for it.

Want to reinvigorate your hair?
Try this herbal vinegar rinse: pour two cups of water into a clear glass jar. Place two sprigs
of lavender and two sprigs of rosemary in the jar. Place the jar in the sun for three or four hours to let the mixture steep, then remove the
herbs. Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to the water solution in the jar and mix. Pour the mixture onto your hair a bit at a time and
work it into your hair and scalp as if it were shampoo. Then rinse to remove build-up from hair products, oil and dirt, and to restore the
natural pH balance of your hair.
Here is one of the more popular natural beauty recipes, a papaya enzyme facial mask.
Before applying the facial mask mixture be sure to wash your face. Gather and mix the following ingredients into a large bowl: a
teaspoon of honey, a half cup of mashed papaya, and one whipped egg white (for those with sensitive skin, include one tablespoon of plain
yogurt). Apply the mask and leave it on your face for between five to eight minutes. During this time the papaya enzymes
will work to exfoliate your skin. When time is up, rinse off the mixture, first with warm water, then with cool water for a refreshing
feeling. Pat your skin dry gently.
Your hands can use some tender loving care, too, right?
Take five ripe strawberries and mash them in a small bowl. Drain the juice off, add a tablespoon of sugar and a little bit of
virgin coconut oil, or virgin olive oil (or any light oil of your choice). Apply this mixture to your hands in a
circular motion to condition and exfoliate the skin. Your hands will feel softer and smoother.
Here are two easy natural beauty recipes for your feet you might want to try: Fill a small basin with lukewarm water,
add some sea salt, citrus fruit slices, and freshly picked flower petals. Soak your feet for about ten minutes, rinse and pat
dry.
For a natural pedicure polish mix the following ingredients into a bowl: a tablespoon of finely crushed almonds, 1/4 cup of plain
yogurt, and 1/2 cup of mashed and strained watermelon. Apply the mixture onto your feet in a circular motion with your
hands. Use a paper towel or soft cloth remove the mixture, rinse and pat dry.
There are many benefits to using natural beauty recipes: they are safe and
inexpensive, and most importantly, they are good for you and will improve the way you look and feel.
